St Louis Family Magazine Cover Story + Weekend Getaways

While it's still October, I figured I'd share the tear sheets from a recent cover and spread for St Louis Family Magazine on one-tank, long-weekend road trips.

It's always a blast doing what I love. Thanks so much to the killer crew and friends at Fedele Studio, at the magazine, to Cha Cha specifically for having such a great name, and to my pup Hen.

Producer: Blaine Deutsch, Assistant: Corey Adams, Production Assistant: Khia McCombs, Talent: Amy, Mark, Cha Cha, and Chase Rubin (West Model & Talent Management), and Henry (pup), Hair & Makeup: Emily Miller/ Heather Biernbaum, Wardrobe: Helene Sayad.

Hart + Honey - STUDY : The Citrus Issue

I'm so excited to be a contributor in Hart + Honey's fifth issue of STUDY, The Citrus Issue.

The goal for this photo essay was to imitate lifestyle of a hot summer day with citrus fruits, and of course it was raining on shoot day. With no time for a rain delay, we brought the shoot in-studio.

Limits bring out spontaneous creativity!

Hart + Honey really took the images to the next step with the beautiful page layout designs.

Thank you Ashley Wilcox + Lily Glass for trusting me from 2,000 miles away, and for giving me the chance to create this poppin' imagery. Thank you Hillary Bird + Corey Adams for looking amazing and sharing your time to juggle and jump around the studio. Looking forward to next time.

Here's the tear sheets of my images used in the magazine. Look, enjoy, and crave citrus.

The Place Home + How a home tells a story

The Place Home just launched their new site, featuring images I had the joy of capturing. The Place Home is where home is considered "to be the most significant place in our lives. It's where we wake each morning and return to each night, the space we share with our family and friends, the place that holds our memories, where we shape our future, and where - OUR LIVES HAPPEN."

It's a design driven company focused on homes.

With the help of Emily Mitchell, owner and designer at The Place Home, I completed a portrait of her home/studio. Her home really tells a story. Her design skills are abundant and are completely manifested in the lovely place she lives and designs. In this post I've shared some of my favorite images from this project.

Check out The Place Home to see how the images are used on the site - a lovely design.
